Repeat Prescriptions:
Repeat prescriptions are authorised only by your doctor, and are for 1 month’s supply of medication at a time. You doctor will wish to review your condition at regular intervals, and you will be asked to see him or her every few months to monitor your progress.
Requests for Repeat Medication:
Requests for repeat prescriptions can be made as follows, using the tear-off slip attached to your last prescription:
- Telephone requests for repeat prescriptions can be made via the Repeat Prescribing Service on 01656 311010 Mon - Fri (excluding Bank Holidays 9-4pm)
- By post - enclosing your request slip together with details of which pharmacy you wish your prescription to go to or a stamped addressed envelope
- By hand - you may post your completed slip through the letterbox at the front of the surgery (clearly marking the items you require)
- On-line via the NHS Wales App https://app.nhs.wales/ . Registration for this is required.

PLEASE NOTE:
48 working hours notice is required by the repeat prescribing service or the practice to process repeat prescriptions and a further 48 hours is required by your pharmacist to put your order together. Please keep these timescales in mind when ordering your repeat medication and always order your repeat medication 7 days before your supply runs out.
Please indicate clearly in the tick-boxes which items of medication you need, to avoid the unnecessary prescribing of items you use only infrequently. Your request cannot be dealt with until you do this.
Please let us know if you wish to collect your prescription or the name of the pharmacy you wish your prescription to be sent to if you wish to avoid having to return to the surgery to collect it.
